Computer Programming Engineer
Schedule:
Full time 4/10 schedule, Mon-Thurs
Duties:
Develop and program proprietary software/firmware across multiple computing platforms to be used with a variety of audio specific hardware.
Develop tools and technical guides for in-house and customer support or proprietary software/firmware.
Evaluate electrical systems, products, circuit boards, and components to be used in conjunction with software/firmware development.
Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities.
Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Strong knowledge of programming in the following languages; C, Visual C, .Net, Objective C, Cocoa, and/or Java
Knowledge of programming communication protocols such as USB, Firewire, and some circuit design
Experience with musical equipment such as guitars, basses, effects etc
Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work on a team or on an individual basis
