Custom Axis Guitar With Rosewood Fretboard
The Casey Lee Ball Foundation is proud to announce an upcoming auction to benefit pediatric kidney research at the Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA. The item up for auction is a custom MusicMAN¨ Axis guitar featuring a non-standard rosewood fretboard!
In addition to the standard specifications, this guitar includes a black body with exclusive cardinal red appointments including binding, volume knob, fret markers, script on the headstock, and black and cardinal red pickups.
The auction will begin Thursday, May 26 and end Sunday, June 5.

The Casey Lee Ball Foundation is proud to announce a series of auctions featuring autographed custom
Ernie Ball/Music Man Axis Super Sport guitars. Each guitar will benefit pediatric kidney research at
The Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA. The first instrument to be auctioned features signatures from
Angus and Malcolm Young of the legendary rock band AC/DC. These Axis Super Sport guitars feature exotic
venner tops, limited to the current and upcoming auctions.



Rare Music Man Bongo
The Casey Lee Ball Foundation will be auctioning off this rare Music Man Bongo bass to help support pediatric kidney research! This Bongo is one of three made for the Nippon Paint Aveo promotional tour. The Aveo is a new model from GM, featuring modern looks and performance at an affordable price. Nippon is a company specializing in after-market paint customization for automobiles. The Bongo was chosen to complement the Aveo because of its distictive looks and outstanding performance.
What makes this Bongo unique is the paint job, "Fritz-the-Katt Lime Green," tri-coat Sherwin Williams paint formulated by Color Design Studio of America, a division of Nippon. Both the Aveo and the Bongo were painted with the same color, a bright green sparkle finish, and this model features one Music Man humbucking pickup.
The auction will begin Thursday, May 27 and run through Sunday, June 6.

DREAM THEATER PETRUCCI

The Casey Lee Ball Foundation will auction off this one-of-a-kind
autographed Music Man John Petrucci guitar from Dream Theater's 2004 "Train of
Thought" tour! Three guitars were made for the tour, and John graciously
donated this model, set up in Drop C tuning, to the foundation as the
American leg is coming to an end.
In addition to the standard features of his signature model, this Sapphire
Black guitar also has a piezo pickup, his DiMarzio ClipLock guitar strap,
and the actual strings used on tour. John signed and dated the tremolo
back plate on March 7 in San Diego after the show.
Included in this auction are pictures of John signing the guitar as well as a Music Man hardshell case. |

STEVE STEVENS CHROME-PLATED AXIS

The Casey Lee Ball Foundation will auction off this one-of-a-kind chrome-plated Axis guitar previously owned by Steve Stevens. This guitar was made in October of 2002 and originally had an Autumn Red Rise finish, but Steve chose to have this guitar chrome-plated. After it was chrome-plated, Steve decided that it was a bit too heavy for regular use (9.56 lbs), so he graciously donated this guitar to the Foundation. This Axis bears the signatures of Steve Stevens and Billy Idol in marker on the chrome finish. |

Nigel Tufnel's Gibson F-5L Mandolin from Spinal Tap

In honor of the 20th anniversary of Spinal Tap, the Casey Lee Ball Foundation is auctioning off this one-of-a-kind Gibson F-5L mandolin!
This mandolin was played by Nigel Tufnel(Christopher Guest) during the "Break Like the Wind" tour. It has been modified by adding a custom pickup and volume control that goes from "Less" to "More" in the Spinal Tap tradition.
Included with the mandolin is a leather strap, several Spinal Tap picks, and the "Tufnel F-5L, Spinal Tap" hardshell mandolin case. This is your chance to own an extremely rare instrument from one of the most influential bands of our time!!
