OT: You play to win the game...

Well as many of you know we have a EB Softball Team that competes in the local league! Well last Thursday we had a season changing game.....both us and our opponent were sitting at 2-2 and looking for a win to propel us towards a playoff run. It was a great game that was highlighted by a stellar defensive team effort. About half way through the game Kevin "Injury Prone" Scoles decided it would be a good idea to try and stretch a triple into an in the park HR!!! Well as I rounded third i knew it was going to be a close play.....and KNEW that I would have to slide in order to have a chance. Well....I slid.....the only problem was that my head crashed right into the catchers knee while running full speed!!!!! and here is the outcome(the swelling has gone down, but I've had a headache since Thursday) good news is....I was safe...better knew is we won the game!! It's all about the "W"! Humm-Baby!

Looks like the result of a UFC fight. Way to give it up for the team Kev.

real men also don't pout when you break your tibia and fibula, both completely in half causing your heel to be where your toes are normally located and vise-versa, while playing flag football. (great story for the next time I see you guys in person)

I have a feeling that real men also don't pout after getting smacked in the face with a titamium rackett ball rackett at full speed triggering the blood version of Niagra Falls.(great story as well, but you have to see me act it out to get the full effect)

what I'm saying is I have a bit of a history for playing intensely..... maybe its time to ease up a bit!!

Yes, you need to lighten up. It's not worth all the blood shed over recreational sports.................oh and real men don't pout when they break things. They CRY................

"Kevin "Injury Prone" Scoles" I love it! The question is my friend, what would Barry do?
