That sucks. I go to his bar in Toronto every once in a while. Nice guy and a great player.

He battled cancer from age 1 until his passing 40 years later. Ug, RIP Jeff, you deserve it.

Thumbs up viva la cbc

on such an unhappy day, it's an honour and privilegeto dialup cbc radio and hear some tribute to Jeff through his more recent jazz music ... the guy is truly amazing in his scope and depth and thanks to cbc radio also for the live broadcast with his jazz band a couple of weeks ago
but, man, I'm still so bummed to think of his departure
and thanx to BP for cutting us this space and time to express our sadness and condolencesthe world of music is a bigger and more empty place without you, Jeff!and I've prayed for you to have a special seat in rock 'n roll heaven!
ATB, everyone,
/PL

here here, Pzo!

I'm listening to him right now, it's truly sad to see him go. I guess Heaven needed a really great blues player up there right now. RIP
