My love poem for the weekend (Louis)

Hi, well another weekend another poem to get that loving feeling started...

The Last and Final Word is You.

You look like the last person God made baby. Down to his last latte, gazing
at empty coffee jars; He felt just drained of joy and cheers, empty,
spent with no ideas.
Sometimes we all feel like that I guessed; just groan, sigh,
then back under the duvet to rest.

Just in this state from His mind, as if between the bars, slipped
one realisation, to stamp the final “Amen” on creation.
Roused to His work with all His art, he summoned
all His skill to meld each part.

Concluding, finished he thought, if my surmise is true,
The final word God made was you.

From: "Beautiful Illusions"© 2006 Louis J. Casson,

Bless you all.
Cheers, Louis

Thank You

I thank you kindly Candid X
your words mean more than
crates of Fosters or Becks

We'll salute you and raise a glass
at the Disco tonight as we shake our Keks.

Must go now as the evening dinner
my wife expects.

Louis
