Attention Music Man Dealers: Help us test out Skype and save on Long Distance

We are testing out a new piece of equipment at the Music Man Factory in SLO. The equipment allows us to connect Skype to our phone system.

I don't think I need to elaborate to much about Skype. I'm sure it's been said many times over in the forums already, but in short it allows you to call other Skype users for free and call long distance at substantially cheaper rates.

If you are a Music Man dealer and want to be able to call us for free, get skype and call the Music Man Factory by calling "ernieballinc" (without quotes) on Skype. The call will go directly to our receptionist just as if you had called our 866 or 805 numbers.

Dealers that use Skype, can you PM me or post your Skype names here so we can call you on Skype? If you want your Skype name to remain private and not public to the general forum population and the rest of the Internet, PM me.....

Any customer that wants to call us on Skype can do so as well, but be forewarned we are "testing" the skype service out so if the call quality isn't up to par please don't confuse that for poor customer service. I do not need customer skype names at this time so please don't fill up this thread with skype names if you are not a dealer.

Also I guess this really only pertains to dealers from the US and parts of Canada right now since International Dealers contact the Coachella office, but I still want to hear from the non-domestic dealers and get your Skype names if any.

We use this in our company and seem to use the chat feature to send messages more than the call feature but it is very convenient.

Yes! using skype would be a good idea, like in my case, I want to buy a bfr luke but i want to know where can I get the right stuff, dealers always say "call us" ... It will be too expensive to my part co'z I'm from philippines, it cost me too much just to inquire some stuff.
