The Blues is No Tradition.

Well the blues is no tradition
It just keeps on being real.
Well the blues is no tradition
It just keeps on being real.
Hearing all my separate worries
Like a dog keeps snapping at my heel.

Well I thought I’m doing OK
But it seems better over there.

This side is rainy weather people
Sunny carefree over there.

I say the blues is no tradition
Grainy pictures in some dusty book.
I say the blues is no tradition
Grainy pictures in a dusty book.
It’s still a hard world getting harder
Every whichway that you look.
