Louis Blues poem of the week #6

Hi, Hope you've all been doing OK.

This week the pain of losing your love...next week a bit more upbeat I promise!

Have a great week,

Best wishes. Louis

P.S. Thank you so much for reading my poems, the readers are growing in number week by week! if you are reading this and wish to be added to my mailing list - or make a comment on the poem - please contact me on: johncasson57@hotmail.com

Much appreciation/gratitude to Pig Poppa and all at Ernie Ball who kindly allow me to post my poems on this Forum (it's quite comfy in this virtual poet's garrett).

Read my Ernie Ball poems:

Bongo Poetry.
While my (silhouette) guitar gently sleeps.
How We Work Around Here (for all @ EBMM).
A poem in praise of the WAH pedal!

Life Gone Blues.

She has burrowed out me hollow,
Haunts my dreams at sleepy time.
She has burrowed out me hollow,
Haunts my dreams at sleepy time.
She has taken up my soul and loving,
Every minute, all the time.

She has burned up other pleasures,
In my working and my life.
She has burned up other pleasures,
In my working and my life.
Since I lost my baby,
She has left town with my life.

Sorry Folks!!

Hi,

I know I always direct people via email to read my poems here on the EBMM Forum, then give link to see/read the rest of my EBMM poems. This week I got the link to my back catalog wrong again!

In future it's best to login to the forum (as a guest or even better register as user)
then use the search facility on the word poem and louis.
