Dream Theater (and others) on Rock Band II!

Rock Band, Guitar Hero and the like may be silly games to some (I can't comment because I haven't had the chance to play either) but when a relatively unknown band gets featured on such mainstream media it has to be a good thing! The song from DT to be featured is Panic Attack, which IMHO is a good fit to the mechanics of the game.

Wow, I can't believe The Trees is in there! That is one of my favorite Rush songs. Panic Attack is a great choice for this game. Cool to see DT getting some recognition. They have some really great songs by some bands that I like that aren't very well known too (these days anyway). Master Exploder (Tenacious D) is such a funny song, so that'll be cool. I'm probably not going to buy the game, but it should be fun playing it at friends' houses.

Oh man, this is gonna be sweet. I too will play it at my friends' houses. I think Panic Attack is a great song to feature, unlike a lot of people over at the other forums who think it should be replaced by Metropolis or Take the Time; if you ask me, you could put in any song that isn't a DT ballad and it would work. It better not be cut short, though. 8:13 would be intense, but not impossible. I can't wait to play it, for sure!

Battery will be a good time, too.
