Shipped to any Guitar Centers in the LA area? The Sunset store didn't have any last week. I damn near got a different brand, but I decided to hold out for the EB's.

We haven't shipped any there yet, but Musician's Friend should be getting a shipment in this week. You could probably ask about a special ordering a set from your local GC.

Hi everyone,

I've just received yesterday my chrome pair of EB locks from Thomann (German online seller) in France !
They look great and fit perfectly to my MM Stingray.

Here are the pics...

Safety bag with zip, can be reused :

Pair of locks + screws, EB logo is protected by plastic film

Lock system : you press on black parts and the 4 small rounded pins and they depress the fixed part.
You will have to use the given fixed part to your bass/guitar.
You can adjust and block your strap with the rings provided.

Final look on my MM Stingray :

So far so good, no Sterling on the floor yet. I take mine off every time the bass goes in the case.

Mine should be here tomorrow -- along with some fresh Slinkys for my electric and some coated strings to try on the acoustic. Looking forward to getting them on. I've been playing the Axis without locks for about six months now after the Dunlops that I got with it for Christmas let go and it almost ended up on the floor twice in the first month.

You need a flame thrower a chop saw and apound of C-4.
Stand 38 paces back and let your imagination run wild.
Or just use a screwdriver to remove the Old "strap buttons" and replace them with the new "buttons" and screws.
Just like any other strap lock.......and no the Dee Mar Zee Oh clip locks are not the same but you still have to remove the old strap buttons.

Yup. Super simple, and you won't regret buying them. I've had mine on for a little more than a week, and I love them. I jerked on the strap pretty good before I trusted them based on some problems I had with the previous non EB strap locks I had on there. They're not going anywhere. The nice solid snap when you click them in is reassuring to me as well.

And, to clarify, they're like $20USD for both of them, right?
