Hello fellow guitarists!
I see EB are bringing out strap locks... Has anyone seen them yet? Are they available in the UK? How do they compare with Schaeller etc?? Thanks Paul PS: Admin - sorry this is slightly off-topic; can we have a category for EB products other than strings?? ----------- Ernie Ball Strap Locks Mechanically engineered to ensure ultimate instrument protection, Ernie Ball’s new Strap Locks feature a push-button, quick-release design, providing a safe, complete 360-degree secure connection to keep your instrument close at hand. Positive locking pins ensure that the locks will not release until the buttons are completely depressed, while the contoured design prevents accidental release. All Ernie Ball Strap Locks are casehardened and steel-plated, making for the most robust and rust-resistant strap lock on the market. Securely fastening buttons mean that Strap Locks can accommodate straps without their own locking mechanisms as well. Available in metallic black, gold and chrome, each Strap Lock easily installs without any instrument modifications whatsoever.

They're on the way! We've only seen pictures so far, but they are eagerly anticipated!
I imagine they will be available in the UK... hit up Machinehead Music, Guitar Shop - Where service counts! and ask DaveB if they have any on order. |

I'm not a customer service rep, just an IT guy whose desk is the MM Sales office. Here is a page with a little more info.
http://www.ernieball.com/site/flyers...trap_locks.jpg By no means is this page super informative, but it might answer some questions about the strap locks

When are thy due for release? I've been using Schaller locks for years (tried Dunlop and didn't like them). Wondering if these will be worth it (would replace all the Schallers).

Neat...does this mean the new basses will be coming out equipped with these? Or..can you at least have them installed prior to shipping?
