New Slinkys!

I just saw this over at Harmony Central:

Harmony Central®: Ernie Ball Introduces Titanium-Coated Slinky Electric Strings

When are these expected to be on the market? I love the RPS strings and can't wait to try these...

Dave,

I think they are already on the market?? I'm sure someone from CS will come on to confirm that. That should "fatten" you up a little.

By the way, I also love "fresh" Classic Rock n Roll Super Slinky strings!

Ahh, I thought only the acoustic ones were on the market. I hadn't seen the electric version yet.

So, are these officially announced, or no? If so, when can I buy them?

They were/are debuting this weekend at summer NAMM. I couldn't believe this thread when I saw it. LOL. Good news travels fast. We're hoping to have the Coated Electrics by early August. There will be waay more info to come after the NAMM show. ** Also .. the press release at HC is a little misleading .. the strings are not Titanium coated. They are coated strings with a titanium reinforcement at the ballend.

Thanks!!
