What about some decent straps?

for as far as i know there are only those flobby EB straps available so far, those nylon things

but what about starting to create decent leather straps?

so far i've been using Fender straps, nothing wrong with 'em, but i personally would like to see an EB strap on my M.M. basses

Hey Bassman,

What is it about leather straps that you like?? Just curious. Actually nylon is lighter, and wears just as good.

Lot cheaper too.

I like my Levy's 4.5" leather strap because it's padded, and it's wide, and those two things make it a lot less painful to wear my bass for long periods of time.

It'll also last longer than I will.

well, when having a M.M. bass you'll actually have a decent bass that isn't cheap

but when adding a nylon EB strap: the strap looks cheap! so i would like a strap that add's value to my bass

another thing about nylon: it is sticky on my t-shirts or whatever i'm wearing, leather slides smoothly across the shoulder

well those inked leather straps allready come a lot closer to the kind of thing i'm looking for, i only rather would like a lot EB or MM logo's on the strap

let's say in the same style as these Fender straps:

.:: Fender®.com ::.

Check out any of the Levys Leather straps. I have 3 of the garment leather straps,and 2 of the new ergonomic straps.VERY comfy and reasonably priced. Leather just gets better with age.I doubt you could say that about the cheapo nylon straps.

They are 2", which means a +10 lbs bass for 3-4 hours is not comfy. A 4" nylon strap would be nice though
