I think I just found a new brand of string. Goodbye RPS 9s and 10s. Hello coated Slinkies!

Is this better than the RPS then? Will it be more expensive? does it sound different? lots of questions I might try this out once I run out of RPS9s in like... 10 months?

I have a similar question, will these be replacing the current RPS strings?

We will still carry the RPS sets. These are going to list for $17.00 US.
The wrap on the RPS is brass, so there's a variable + the coating ... some people might say they sound waaaay different, some people might say just slightly brighter, some people call me the space cowboy

Just as a reference, how much does a set of RPSs list for?

In Nashville, we had strung up 2 ALs with MM90's - one with the new Coated Slinkys the other with a standard set of Slinkys. We had people play both guitars, and everybody was blown away by how good the Coated Slinkys sounded and felt. The new Coated Slinkys don't compromise tone for the sake of longevity. Both are achieved and everybody goes home happy. Crazy punch, killer-bright tone right outta the pack, and engineered to keep you jammin' for days.!

Keep your eyes pealed for these shiny new additions.

Do it.

I go through strings faster than underwear, so I'll have to either try the coated ones, or change my underwear more often.

Are there plans to do coated bass strings in the future?

We have yet to see these or the Coated Acoustic strings in Canada.

When will I get the chance to play them?
