FWIW a mom and pop store said they tried coated bass strings and they didn't sell so they are not going to get the coated Slinkies.

I believe these new coated strings are the same scale length as all the other mainstream EBMM bass strings.

Looking forward to try them on my basses.

Buy Ernie Ball 3833 Coated Hybrid Slinky Bass Strings | 4 String Sets | Musician's Friend

Not bad for a 4 string set. The 5 string sets are $36.99. Looking forward to them hitting the shelves to avoid shipping.

The Coated Slinky Bass strings sound and feel fantastic! Start asking your local dealers for them!!! If the demand is there, the supply will follow!!!
