I'm pretty stoked to try those!! I'm glad EB is introducing a coated bass string.

Contact your luthier if your string tension remains stiff for more than 4 hours.............

I've used the D'A------- coated strings and certainly the idea works well. Problem is the D guys sets are hard to find around here in anything other than 45-100 gauge.

The EB geetar sets are readily available.

Just put a set of Hybrid Slinkys on a bass and looking forward to trying the coated ones as soon as they are available.

Any word on when these come out? I've seen lots of ads for them but no one is carrying them yet.
