Thumbs up The Notorious Cherry Bombs

Picked up "The Notorious Cherry Bombs" on CD from one of the Amazon Marketplace shops for few bucks. Darn good songs by Rodney Crowell and friends. Thanks, BP, for turning me on to them by mentioning Rodney's performance of "Making Memories of Us" at Brian & Shelle's wedding. Fun stuff.

This is a great CD. One of my favorites. Vince Gill plays a lot of tasty solos on it too.

Actually, I think Rodney's is better. I think his performance is more evocative.

I just downloaded the Cherry Bombs CD. Haven't listened to all the songs in their entirety yet but so far my fav is "It's Hard To Kiss The Lips At Night That Chew Your Ass Out All Day Long".
Prophetic.
