I recently got a EVH D Tuna and put it on my Schecter Damien FR (Floyd Rose bridge). I researched beforehand and I blocked off the tremolo with some shims. I think its on correctly but obviously something isn't working right.
I kept it in the out position and tuned it to drop D like the directions say, but when I push it in, the E string goes up barely a half-step. I tightened the fine tuner in the side of the D Tuna but its not enough. Whenever I get it nearly tight enough for it to be an in-tune E, the friction makes the D Tuna impossible to change positions. I have the Floyd Rose fine tuner all the out like the directions say. Idk what could be going wrong.. its just a matter of getting it in tune though. |
