Well ... this is almost anti-climactic after all of the photos! This Bongo 4 HH Stealth black beauty was made into an instrument on 2/03/09 and was shipped to the boys of Bass Central. Nice pics and congratulations on your new 'go to' bass! I love my Bongo as well ....

Dan

Really? That's exactly a year before my youngest as born. Now I have to hang on to it for a while!

Guess this means a "double-birthday" party from now on ... hope your youngest doesn't mind sharing the day!

He already does... in fact both my boys were born on days other close family members (grandma and cousin) were born! This makes it a triple birthday!

Sure, this Sterling was completed on 9/06/96. The specs line up with what you have, which is a good thing. It was originally shipped to Hames Music in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Thanks 5Stringer for the info.I worked at Hames Music in gaffney s.c. from 1990 till 2000.I was the guitar tech among other things. I would have been the one that done setup on this Sterling when it was new before putting it on display. What goes around comes around . Thanx again for the info. John Dill

Hi Dan

Another recent acquisition - could you please give me the lowdown on E11876? Finish, pickguard, neck, build date and where it was shipped to would be great!

Thanks, Oliver

Dan,
If I may impose again, E54107 arrived at my door today. I got very lucky twice in one week, and am very much enjoying the new love affair with EBMM.

Oh, and Polyester Clear Coat Rocks!

Thank you so much for your time!
-Matt

Hi Dan,

A friend of mine just got a Bongo4 in Rolls Burgundy with Tort guard. Can I get a DOB? The serial is F15696. Thanks.
