Me again ![]() What can tell me about a Stingray 5 s/n 53564? I would like to know : date of birth, woods, color (body and pickguard), neck and fingerboard, pickup, electronics... Renaud, you're a busy guy! This StingRay 5 is a Natural Ash / maple completed on 6/29/93. Yes, the specifications/size should absolutely be the same as every other StingRay 5 (with the usual slight variation). This bass was originally shipped to your home country.

Not sure about the birdseye, our records don't tell us anything about that - but I will say that there was a lot more of it to go around back then, so you would often see it on the basses as well as the guitars. And yes, sorry, I should have mentioned that there was a rosewood fretboard on the maple neck
