azzy, this Sterling was completed on 2/1/02. Darn! just missed being a 2-2-2 baby ....'course that would be impossible as 2/2/02 was a Saturday.

The current owner doesn't know the year it was born. I want to guess it's around the year 2000. Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks,
Hey r, this lovely bass was completed on 4/6/00 and sent to the gentlemen at Bass Central. It didn't have a clear pickguard when it left, but the BC folks will often put one on the basses if the customer requests it or the finish warrants it. Hope your deal works for you!

Marvin, your StingRay 5's completion date is 4/15/98. We show it as a sunburst/maple and it was originally shipped to Strings & Things Ltd (our exclusive UK distributor).

Thanks Dan! Glad it wasn't a 2/2/02 as that was the first day I started work at McDonalds... Those were the days!

By 2/1/02 you mean the first of Feb right? Just having trouble with the whole US date thing...

Thanks Dan - don't worry about it - I wasn't sure if the date had already been tweaked, so just wanted to check
