Any truth?
My Luthier has been told that Schaller make the pick-ups for MM basses. I find this difficult to believe. I understood that they were wound in-house.
Anyone care to put the record straight? BP? |

God the world is just a big ol bag of misinformation.......We have made all of our bass pickups since day one. Please correct your "luthier" The first silhouette guitars used schaller pickups and only for a few months......that was over twenty years ago. How old is your luthier?
Why dont you make a wager with him for a wimpy or guiness and I will send a photo of the pick up dept |

We have a plethora of eyewitnesses, too.
Can I say 'plethora' on the internet?

Your "in-depth" knowledge of traditional British fare never ceases to amaze BP, but I must admit I AM getting a little sick of eating the particular "happy meal" combo you mention 7 days a week! Hopefully the release of your cookbook will change all that.

I have said before that musicians should not be trusted with wrenches. The same goes for any kitchen implement with a sharp edge or point, as well as open flames. Therefore the purchaser of this book, if he/she is indeed a musician, is strongly advised to promptly hand it over to someone who knows what the heck they're doing in a kitchen. Sneak-peek recipes: Dry Martini: - Ketel One - Open a bottle of vermouth in the vicinity and blow the fumes towards the martini glass - Add one DD-green olive. Really Dry Martini: - Same as Dry Martini, but just show the vermouth bottle label to the martini glass. Do not open. Really, REALLY Dry Martini: - Do not buy a bottle of vermouth. Instead, pour the Ketel One into the martini glass and say the word "vermouth" before imbibing.
