Check out the words used in the ebay listing: rare, extraordinary, butter, amazing, gorgeous, perfect, special, pro-level, unique. All this guy was trying to do was sell his guitar. You didn't get taken. I bet if you walked in a shop and saw it hanging on the wall, you still would have bought it... without all those words.

If you're some kind of wall hanging collector, you would have checked the serial number first. But if you're a player, and it sounds like you are, don't let any of this bother you. Make that puppy thump! I think it's awesome; I love green regardless of what the marketing numbers say!

Nice 2007 orange 2band SR4

not really sure of the official color (firemist?), but an $899 BIN is a good price (especially with free shipping!)

I sold him the bass, and JUST shipped it yesterday. But this morning, while doing a routine "Music Man" search on eBay, I see that he has reposted my auction, with all my pictures and my description...even PRIOR to receiving the bass himself. Obviously something COULD happen to it during shipping, but he doesn't seem to care, and won't actually know for several days. Yikes.

So...I asked him what's up, and here's the response:

"I found another Bass that I want and cant afford both, so I need to sell this one."

Nice. Sure hope UPS doesn't foul that up for him. Although, if they do, despite my auction terms, I suppose that will be my fault, and he'll find some reason to demand his money back. Sigh.
