agreed. some poor fool contacted my band's myspace about being in on that.
Being a former promoter myself I laughed in their face. It is kind of sad how they prey on the dreams of the young.

That's a sweet looking bass Moondog! I'm looking for a 2-band EQ. I just have to sell a bass to be able to afford it. Unfortunately it doesn't look like that's going to happen before the auction ends.

trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your guitar...

What is the tuning on a baritone guitar or bass or whatever it is?

Thanks,

its generally one octave below a guitar, one above a bass.
But it can be anything you like. I like drop D on baritone or C to C can sound good too.
that baritone went for peanuts. Damn, wish I noticed that one earlier.

I thought the four stings of a 4-string bass were each one octave lower than the corresponding bottom 4 strings of a guitar?

You know I looked into it and you are right. I guess all these years of tuning my regular bass all funny have caught me out.
It seems baritones are tuned a fifth lower than a regular guitar. so you get something crazy like adgcea.
I guess I ascribed the two octaves to the fact that a baritone never gets anywhere as low as a bass, and not nearly as high pitched as a guitar.
Still
Need to get me one of thems. Especially since I found out thats essentially what Peter Hook has been playing for years (albeit from a differnt manufacturer).
I would be a jerk and replace at least one of a silo's pickups with a more bass-ish pickup. But then that would involve routing most likely, which I wouldl find hard to do to a guitar unless I picked it up for well under a grand.
Why didnt I notice that auction earlier! Dammit!
But long story short, I tune all my basses and guitars to C.
