This is MusicMan's first bass to offer both active and passive electronics, pushbutton switches for easy on-the-fly pick-up configuration changes. The rear H pick-up provides a classic Stingray tone while the neck-oriented single pickups provide a great deal of low-end warmth. Very versatile tone machine.

I'm selling this StingRay5 for forum member/bandmate cityofc, as he doesn't have enough posts to add it to this thread.
StingRay 5, DOB Jan 17. 2002. Honey Burst, rosewood fretboard, natural headstock, WHITE pickup, matte white pickguard. This bass is a real workhorse and was his main bass for several years. Here you go guys. I'm just not playing her the way she deserves. I do love the bass, but I have to let her go.
She's only been gigged once and was meticulously cared for. $1,400 shipped in the CONUS. I will entertain international offers, but the buyer must pay full shipping costs, and the bass must be dis-assembled for shipping. US buyers will receive the bass in a hard-shell case, while international will receive a gig bag. These are someone else's pics, but I can take fresh ones upon request.

Selling my Stingray 4.... Natural .
Well everyone should know the spec. I bought it Feb 2009 After this, I got another 5 string's so almost new condition. (not even mint) Asking for $900, Local Buyer Only (close to Los Angeles or North Orange County. If shipped, only to US cons. Trade's welcome only for 5 stringer. PM me. Case with everything I got.  whole shot  Bridge  Knobs and jack  Pickguard and pickup got little scratch from Picking  pokenut  head  head back  body back  a few buckle gis. not serious as shown  one dent on hip but hard to find

I bought a set of the bass string mutes from dealer and forum member colin for $60 USD. Installed perfectly and easily and worked great. But I've since sold the 1997 Sterling I put them on -- and can offer the Mute Kit for resale. $40 shipped. PM me.

I have a Stingray, I think made in 2007, that really hasn't been used at all. Still has the stickers on it as you can see in the pics. Case and case candy included, $1000 plus s&h, thanks.

like new,very clean,I baby her,spotless,

Trade Black Sparkle SR4 for Mint Green GC Classic SR4
Up for trade is E13783, a Black Sparkle StingRay 4 2EQ with rosewood fretboard and matching headstock, born on the 4th of April in 2000. What you see here is a hard to find rare and elegant colour combination in exceptional condition.
Looking to trade for a GC exclusive Classic StingRay 4, Mint Green, oil & wax finished neck with maple board.   Sound examples Strings: Ernie Ball Super Slinky set with about 2 hours of playing time on them
The neck has a very smooth and slim feel to it, and with 3,9 kg it is the lightest StingRay I've come across so far. Because I didn't like the sharp pole pieces of the earlier MM SR pickups, I had the pickup replaced with a current (2007) model with rounded pole pieces. The work was carried out by the EBMM distributor. Comes with OHSC. More pics in the Picture Gallery thread and here If you're interested, please send a PM.
