THis person is someone who will threaten us doing this stuff in the future. I cannot explain enough that we are doing this to take you along the design ride from start to finish. Postive comments are great but we arent considering them just like we won't consider the negative ones at this time. How come I cant just try to give you guys more information without a chicken sh!t posts like the one I deleted?

Can we accept this for what it is ? It is the first instrument designed out in the open for the world to see.......I think it is fun.
There is always one idiot to spoil every game...

I can pretty confidantly say that everybody else is really enjoying the chance to see something like this. Its rare enough to get any real insight into the workings of some of the bigger companies, let alone the development of new instruments, and definately not updated this quickly as events happen in the factory. To see even a couple of these photos when it has been released would be damn cool and probably keep us happy.

Again props to you and all at EBMM for being top notch guys, and giving us a damn cool oppertunity.

As for the Bongo 6, Hell, I haven't even gotten up to five strings yet, but this is looking fantastic, and very well balanced scalewise - it would be cool to see it against some kind of benchmark like a human or bongo 4 to see how big it actually is.

Cheers again.

David

WoW! It's to cool to see how fast the team can design and fabricate a new model!
This thread is more interesting than a whole season of Orange County Choppers!

Guys Dudley is the absolute master...I think that he has 1,000 respect in our house. The way he was nurtured and trained Enjoneer and Drew is impressive.....Jon great job on this bass....

i guess since i also play guitar its tricking me into thinking that its familiar terriory - but its not at all. i do a lot of finger playing stuff on guitar so it seems like that would be really fun on a bass.

ya - sign me up pops.

Thanks BP and Jon and all at EBMM - this has become a very interesting ride. Fascinating to see how a new instrument develops through the design process.
Lookinf forward to seeing the playable prototype - how about a scale shot next to a 4 string Bongo?

I normally don't venture into these parts, being one of the skinny-string players, but I gotta say..... Whoa! (in appropo Keanu accent) I'm already convinced I need one of these Bongos. Thanks for letting us witness its development.

No...you are not the only one....

However, I have only tried out one 5-string (unfortunately, not EB at the time) and just felt like I kissed my ex mother in law. My bongos actually put me in the dog house for even picking up "Brand X" bass.....

So, I am looking for a 5-string bongo just to see how it is.....but, that 6'er is really getting my interest piqued. I would love to get my hands on one for a try out....
