I just know a lamb coming to slaughter when I see one. This lamb seems willing.

I can not wait for these to become production models. They are high on my list for a great present to myself.

Hey Trane, I've owned & played all 3 of the above in fretless--a fretless Sterling was not quite for me; I just got my fretless Dargie SR 2 Band & like it fine, but not anywhere as much as I love my fretless Bongo HH--sometimes I'll just take that one out & leave anything fretted at home.

Late Tuesday Torture- 1st Playable Bongo6 Prototype

At long last- here is the first fully assembled Bongo6. The pickup is still in development so we installed a prosthetic one in just for looks.

Here's one of the Bongo6 and and an old ash Bongo5 side by side.

I need bigger hands.

Dad-gum genetics. Sheesh.

I'm not a trained designer, but I like to think I have a reasonably good eye. I'm constantly impressed by the EBMM crew. You've taken the very lovely shape of the Bongo and widened it without making it look bloated or ugly in any way.

That's frakkin' awesome. And not easy to do.

Can't wait to hear how it balances.

I have to admit that I hit up my local GC at lunch today to play a six string bass - never really spent time with one, but figured it was worth the time since I know I'll end up buying a Bongo 6 eventually.

Really digging the single H on that - probably what I'll end up with if I can afford it...I mean *when* I afford it. :-)

Plus, that ash 5 stringer looks great.

That is stunning. And, that ash 5 string is simply extra cruel torture.....
