Maybe not the BEST bass line ever, BUT....

....MAN, is it fun. I just can't get tired of playing along with this song.

The Joss Stone version of "Some Kind of Wonderful."

Check it out.

I've been playing it for weeks and it just doesn't get old for me for some reason. Simple little funky-bluesy lick, anyone can do it, and it's just a hoot.

trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your guitar...

It's so simple that you don't need tab.

The verse is two patterns.

First:
Bb - C - Bb - G - F
Bb - C - Bb - G - F

In the first one you hang on the G a bit, in the second you don't. You can hear this clearly in the recording.

Then

FF - F - G - Bb - FF (rest) twice.

If you've got a five-string, you can throw in a little vamp on the B string instead of the rest.

That's it for the verse.

Chorus ("my baby, she''s alright...") is just G - F

The bridge (can I get a witness) is C - A.

That's it.
