WHAT a piece of equipment!
3.5kg of 500 raw watt power.. it made ALL the acoustic guitars in our shop zing along.. hehe.. had to stay away from any open string notes ![]() its like the bongo of amps.. just a lil turn on the filter knobs and you got a whole new ballpark to play in!! i could do 80ies mark king zappa zappa thumbing with razor sharp and supercontrollable dynamics, or lil-gritty tube warmth thumps.. and then everything in between ![]() and not once did i touch the eq.. hehe.. hi mid and lo mid is like on the 4band eq bongo! i can see myself growing old while experimenting with all the options! i now understand what people are so excited about! i am too!! that ampeg rig needs to be sold right away!!! ![]() MrM ps: its so small you can fit it in the notecompartment in your gigbag!!! its DA PERFECT gigging amp!!!

My exact impressions when I tried one in Jacksonville at GC. The size is killer for it's output! But alas...I'm content with my Eden stuff.

I have a LM II and a 2x10 cab. It's so nice to have such a light-weight, great sounding little rig. It's so easy to carry around, my back is thankful.

Ah, finally someone he has seen the light!
Now pair that with a MB 104R cab, and you find yourself turning your volume down in band settings.

I shelfed my Ampeg head as soon as I heard/bought an F1. The damn thing fits in my gig bag. What more can you ask for? I bring a gig bag to rehearsal and nothing else. My bass and F1.

hehe.. well it was worth a shot.. baird, ontario, canada, mm and markbass.. lots of common things
![]() also i read the magazine that markbass sent to our store.. heh.. i feel pritty stupid for saying almost the same thing they printed in it! but then again, ive experienced just what they tried to communicate and i did write this before i read it in the paper.. and that somehow makes me feel good.. hehe.. like i can trust my ears and judgement after all ![]() MrM

I just did the same thing this week. I tried the Markbass LMII through the 2*10, sweeeeet!! (of course with a Stingray 5H) then I tried it through the 4*10, HUGE!!
I also tried the 15" combo which was also real nice and compact and punchy. But I think the LMII and 2*10 will suit my needs best. It will even fit in the boot of my coupe!!

Wow, you imported a Pontiac? ![]() (NB. Translating for the benefit of our US readers, "boot" is "trunk") That's the convenience of 2x10 cabs. I fit a 2x10 in the trunk of my Focus hatch and another 2x10 on the back seat. Granted, I've got to take the family wagon to a gig when I want to lug the 8x8, but for rehearsal and small gigs 2x10s are the way to go.

I drive one of these...
![]() And believe it or not, a Markbass Traveller 102P will fit like a glove in the compartment under the hood/bonnet. Don't forget, mid placed engine!

Hm... that makes me wonder whether a bass and a MB combo could make to fit into the trunk of a Z3. That would be hilarious!

Seriously.... it was one of the deciding factors, whether the MB gear would fit!!
