Yep, sure I did
No bad intention meant, but none of the EBMM NAMM pics thrilled me like this honey burst SR5 did (and still does).
Actually, I almost shed a tear each I see a photo of her...

Cheers
Jay

Yes I have checked the leads and it's not the problem. I'll have the shop to look at it. Thanks anyway

Well, I wanted a Sterling... couldn't find one online in the colors I wanted. I didn't want to custom order and wait for a HH Sterling. So I sucked it up and bought this instead.

Stingray 5.

Is this Graphite Pearl or Egyptian Smoke? From the pics I've seen online, it looks like Egyptian Smoke to me. What do you guys think?

Sorry. It isn't the best pic. But the chrome chassis Mesa with chrome side armor cab should make up for it.

I think that's Egyptian smoke. Did you buy it at a GC? My local GC has one in that exact same color combo/matching headstock/python guard. Congrats on the purchase and enjoy it, that's a great color in person.

Yeah, I got it at the GC in Raleigh, NC.

I checked it against a Sterling that they have at Bass Central that is Egyptian Smoke, and it looks the same and has a very similar pickguard color, so I bet it's Egyptian Smoke afterall.

If only the Egyptian Smoke Sterling at Bass Central had a rosewood fretboard... I would have been so on it. But, oh well, this is a great bass too.

The only thing is, I'm a guitar player and I've never really used a 5 string before. I tune to CGCFAD and wonder how I'm going to adapt the tuning of this guy to match my guitars. ACGCF or GCGCF.

Unsure. The only thing I am sure of is that, when this thing is tuned, I may find the "brown" frequency.
