Bongo

Got my 3rd EB/MM today and I jumped in the Bongo pool. Went with a Stealth 5 HH.
I set everything flat, plugged in, fired it up and the first response I had was "Oh Yeah"!!
Instant bonding , love the 24 frets, well instead of running on with how killer a bass this
is, I'll just say my second thought was I'm selling another PRS ( I sold a '91 EG 2 to get this) and getting a Rosewood neck Bongo. Got this from Sean at The Perfect Bass, my 2nd MM from them, I have to say they are outstanding retailers, soon as I unload a guitar for the funds I'll order the Rosewood Bongo with them. These baby's are addicting!

Thumbs up

gorgeous Stealth!!

and yes, once you go Bongo... well, you'll try others but you're pretty much ruined for anything but a Bongo.

Thanks all, ok I'm done, I played it twice now and now I'm seriously thinking of selling
my rosewood 20th SR5 and a guitar so I can buy 2 more bongos, oh boy I'm in trouble,
I love this freaking bass, the neck is killing me. I can't believe the tonal variations.
On my second shot with it, I'm seeing you can really tweak the eq, . I'm going to post my rswd. 20th 5 banger here right now, before I go to other venues. The impossible dream is looking very possible, this is nuts, this is my new main bass just for neck alone.

I hear ya, man. With so many great features, that super sweet neck profile doesn't get enough attention, in my opinion. It's good to see someone else point it out.

Adouglas smiles quietly to himself, pleased to see that the double-secret plans for world domination are proceeding nicely.

Welcome, friend!

fingerboard closeup new Bongo

It doesn't show that well in my previous shots , but the board has some nice grain variation, yeah, it's staying.

Congrats on the new Bongo! What a great find! That bass wasn’t here for more than a week …. I think it only spent 48 hours on our site. That Rosewood board is stunning!
