I like this thread..The perfect Stingray IMHO.

I'd swap either of my SR's for one of those. Any overseas folks intrested in a fretless 30th or a 92 Trans White?

Hi bongodude

I shot a photo of my basses (in front of one of my paintings - do you like it?)

So here you go, but please don't expect too much... Next weekend, I'll hopefully find the time to take some more pics (in front of my stack 'n stuff):

Gimme your opinion!

But guys, let me tell ya: both basses sound sooooo absolutely different.
The REDHOT is such a punchy b**** - just right for funky fingerpicking like on a Modulus. The EBONY on the other hand: what a warm round sound that produces a nice sound even when played hard (slappin').
So crasy and very helpful to get you where you want, these sounds. I just love 'em !!!!

Hi BassArt!

1st:

Right you are - and the point is: the both of 'em are in Hamburg, did you see that? What a nice coincidence

Honestly? Well, I paid 1.799 EUR. That is a very good deal I think. At least I could find it cheaper elsewhere.

2nd:
See me signature? It is one of the fifty RedHot-StingRay Edition that were sold back in 1997. It's much more punchy which comes in very handy to me for I love funky music So it's totally different form the Ebony-Edition. And I am really fascinated by the deep, deep red finish... Simply a nice, simple and overwhelming beautiful bass!

Here we go again...!
I finally found the time to shoot some more pics of my ltd. StingRays
Although I am definitively not a pro at shooting pics (as you can see ) I could have done worse - at least, I guess
Anyway, I really like these basses. Both of 'em!

greetings,
FunkyPunky
