media goes crazy here too. Very interesting is that some people working for a big pharmaceutical company were adviced by their company not to get the vaccination. I think this statement is clear.

also check out how many people die from the average flu every year in your country. It is a lot more...

Producing vaccines, even if they are completely ineffective, are considered to be a great way to recover world economy...profit is just such a important factor,..

money is, too..
I remember people paying extreme amounts of money for some tamiflu when there was this media buzz about the bird flu in 2006, this terrible individualism

Ofcourse, it's good to see people reacting and becoming aware at this stage...SHOULD the virus become more dangerous and that everyone's getting a chance to be 'saved' by injections

I'm hacking up sneakers and little fat children and can no longer seem to control my body's temperature.

But yeah, those other guys are probably right. Government in league with pharmaceutical companies, evil cabals, the Illuminati, blah blah blah.

They say the people at risk are the ones with pre-existing conditions. Isn't that true of the "normal" flu virus also?

At least it's not the Spanish Flu Epidemic like in 1918: The 1918 Influenza Pandemic

My son, 15, had it. Knocked him for a loop for the better part of a week. Scary because he has asthma. On the other hand he is in great shape (wrestling, football, etc.) so I guess that helped. Infections in the lung following the flu can be a killer (literally).

When he went to the doctor they said 99% its H1n1...they assumed if you had the "flu" it was H1N1 based on what they see coming through their doors. We had our son tested and it was confirmed H1N1.

A 15 year old boy died from H1N1 in our county. He was an athlete as well. I don't know s**t about government conspiracies but I grieve for that kids family.

Yes wife got the H1N1 about a week of suffering then better for a bit. Now pneumonia. Getting better now but not a fun thing to witness nor have happen to you.

Take care everyone and don't try to get this one.

yep!

I sure don't want to hurt anyone's feelings as it is always not nice if you or your families or friends get ill. It is just obvious that H1N1 is not more lethal that the 'common' flu viruses that kill thousands every year. So why do they make such a story out of THIS and not of the vaccination against the typical flues that are offered every year? And why do the companies taht produces vaccines and such things tell their employees not to get the H1N1 vaccination unless they know they will get in contact?

I think it sure is a risk, but there are also major economical interrests involved.

For those who like world domination theories, read this:
