Smile Bongo 6 with 3-band EQ?

I thought all Bongo 6's had 4 band EQ, but I found this bass on eBay, and it looks like it has a 3 band EQ (only 4 knobs): ERNIE BALL MUSICMAN BONGO 6 STRING H 6 STRING BASS - eBay (item 130314488882 end time Jul-22-09 15:50:04 PDT)

Is the single H model made with only 3 band EQ?

Actually it is a 4 bands eq, it consists of 4 knobs as follows:

The first two knobs are volume and pickup pan, the other 2 are stacked knobs, one for the high mids / low mids and one for bass / treble.

There are only one humbucker, so could there be something to pan? I know that Sterlings have a switch between front and back coils on the humbucker, but I thought Bongo 6s didn't have that option.

I know how the knobs look, I got a Bongo 4 HH with 4 band EQ myself, but if you look at the knobs in the photos, it looks like there arn't two knobs on top of eachother on the two rear knobs for EQ.

Oh I see, I didn't look at the pic in details nor opened the ebay ad link, I thought it was an H / S combination, in that case I haven't got a clue as to how the 4 bands is spread out, perhaps someone with a 6 stringer single H'd might explain it better. Sorry

Single H Bongos have 3 band EQs. It goes Volume, Teble, Mid, Bass. All other configurations (including Hp) have the 4 band EQ (piezo includes a blend knob.)

It's pretty easy to explain--it's exactly like every other single H Bongo in existence that doesn't have piezos, regardless of the number of strings. It has a three band EQ.

Thanks for all the answers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is it true that the Bongo 6 doesn't come with HH/HS and piezo? Only Hp, HH, HS and H?

With the risk of being wrong for the umpteen time, I believe that Bongo 6's do not have a piezo option nor can you get one left handed apart from that you can have H, HH or HS and now I have learnt that the single H only has a 3 band EQ whereas the other options H and HS do have 4 band EQ's whay-hey!

Pickups:
Standard - Single Humbucking with Neodymium magnets; Optional - Dual Humbucking with Neodymium magnets; Optional - Humbucking/Single coil with Neodymium magnets

Piezos are not an option on six string Bongos at this time, regardless of pickup configuration.

So, GW is correct. This time.

Agreed (I like the 4 band but in all honesty the 3 band is plenty for most players)

And no stacked knobs, that's got to be worth something too
