Ugh, but I have the worst luck ever. Recently my father bought a new Lexas car.

I was driving to my country house with my new EBMM Bongo 5HH inside a gig bag (since the case won't fit anywhere inside the car). I set it behind the driver's seat, but what I didn't know was that when the car's engine turns off the seat automatically moves back.

So when we reached our country house and my dad turned off the engine the seat moved back, crushing my gig bag. I immediately pulled it out and inspected my bass.

There were no scars on the bass but what I did notice was that the second set of concentric knobs (treble/bass) was shaking around loosely. When I shake the bass I hear something shaking inside my bass. I see that one end of the "green square" that's connected to the knobs is loose.(sorry for the terrible language)

It didn't affect the sound but it's driving me nuts!! I'm going to bring it to a luthier and have it fixed.

Since you are in the US of A, make sure you check the Lexus documentation!
Does it mention that the seats move back, and that you therefore cannot place cargo behind them? If not, SUE dammit!

I think my father knew but didn't notice the bass behind him (somehow).

I didn't get a chance to check the documentation, but it's only a minor problem. It'll get fixed (hopefully). I think one of the bolts that's holding the knobs just came off (I don't know how, but there's a small thing shaking around inside the bass when I shake it).

Well, then it's not a Bongo anymore, but a Shaker...
