Welcome!

That stealth black Bongo is only Bongo I like! (personal opinion)

I just wonder how that HS combination works with Bongo electronics?

Welcome, let's see ......
Bongo- check
Stealth- check
H/S - check

Looks like you're on the right track. I'm really starting to appreciate what the H/S does on the Bongo, I have 3 vs 1 H and 1 HH.

Nice job on the Bongo, it usually takes a bit of convincing from the forum for people to even CONSIDER Bongos. Well that's not exactly true, but good job anyway!

My only Bongo is HS and let me tell you it KILLS. Fantastic tones...from warm and fuzzy to bright and zingy, ultra phat to ultra articulate. Gorgeous!

Stealth is probably the coolest finish ever made.

Well, ...yes!

As far as I know Bongo have pickup balancer pot instead of switch, right?

Does that balance pot mixing between H & S pickups in serial or parallel mode?
Logical to me is that balancer works like two-cross-fader pot, but not sure?
Maybe it's some kind of secret weapon inside!

I was never thought about that before!

welcome to the forum... i don't think anyone here is authorized to reveal information about the secret weapon that lurks within the bongo, but rest assured, it's there...

The Bongo is wired in series and yes, it has the pan knob versus the switch.

The secret weapon is inside the preamp, but if I told you about it, I'd have to kill you.

Forgive me, Lord Bongo, but I believe that the Bongo pickups are wired parallel. What the pan knob does to the signal...I don't know.
