No fivers in the classic series?
That will make it possible for me to resist!

I find this post real amusing, AtomicPunk
A brand new SR5 is pretty much the same as an 1987 model, so a classic wouldn't be nearly as much fun as the SR4's based on the 70's Stingrays...

Those necks are seriously beautiful but the birdseye on the back of the painted headstock neck has got me drooling. So so classy. Good stuff.

Seriously, those necks are great - just perfect. The ebony will look superb with Shell Pink or Sonic Blue (and the other ones probably) - and the maple with the other colours or natural will be my choice of orders.

Went to my local dealer last week and asked about ordering a 'Classic Collection Stingray'! He was stoked to hear about them and phoned up Strings and Things immediately - soounds like he wants to order a couple for his own use as well!

trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your guitar...

+1!

I like the old logo on the headstock, but I just can't stand finished necks ... Your can't move your hand on 'em!

I don't know if this question has been answered already or not (forgive me if yes), but are the Classics going to be available as lefties (and/or as SLO Specials)? Thanks.

I say earlier that the matching headstocks are going to only be offered at the show? Does that mean I need to get one ordered this weekend?

I am unable to be at the show, but am interested in a matching headstock.
