This about sums everything up

This is what everything was leading too I guess. Kind of crazy how it all worked out, but I've never been happier with my gear or musical situation.

Very nice! Which do you like better, the maple or the rosewood?

I think this photo answers that question: does it not?

Who said you can't have it all.

Beautiful.

Sweet.

I'll take the brunette. No, the blonde! No, the brunette....

I'm dying to get a chance to play one of those.

Loving the classic burst/tort/rosewood combo on the space age Jetsons looking bass! If only the neck on the Big Als were wider, that's the color combo I'd be buying.

You're a bad influence on me smalleq... must resist. Glad you've found your setup.

Got to say I'm really digging the Big Al look and the variety of tone as displayed in Ed's YouTube demo too. Would love to see the Big Al with an EBMM mute bridge... it would finish off the whole "back to the future" look of the instrument.

Looks great Paul. What pedals/effects do you have there and what strings are you using on each?

I am missing my Big Al - it is on its way back from a short vacation in California!

Pedals are Korg Pitchblack tuner, Way Huge Pork Loin O/D, Way Huge Swollen Pickle Fuzz and a Sonic VI Champion Fuzz unit. The Way Huge pedals are both very bass friendly. The only thing missing from here is a Aguilar Ocatamizer Octave pedal that is on back order.

I love the Als in burst/tort, they really pop in person. Nice set-up!
