"Motor Skills", one of THE most unpopular bands in Houston, circa 1979.

The guy on the far left, the guitarist, went nuts and now lives off Social Security in a travel trailer in Gautier, Mississippi.

The guy on the far right, the drummer, turned into a record producer/engineer and ran Rancho de la Luna studios in Joshua Tree until he died way too young a few years ago.

The guy in the middle, the bassist, became a soccer mom.

See, the cool thing about Stingrays is how they cut right through the tuba and sit prominently in the mix.

Not many basses can deal with tubas.

Great pictures! It was great to get a laugh from the past! I must admit, I have never jammed with a tuba before. I did have to play one in marching band in high school because I read bass clef and they did not have a marching bass amp.
