Don't You have some friend electronics who can temporary solder down a straight wire instead that volume pot?
So, volume will be always at max. level! Of course until You get original part...etc. ![]() Use imagination, I don't know? ![]() It's so simple thing to me, or take some replacement part, temporary, I don't know...etc.

I broke one off once - got a new one from customer service - replaced it myself - works great.
As for adjusting the volume while you wait for a part - you could do the drill-the-hole thing or super glue a piece of plastic or metal to the stub and give it a turn.

Keko beat me to the punch short it out of the circuit temporarily with a wire or the pot turns clockwise so tap a thread into the pot counter clockwise and use a screw to turn the pot

We don't recommend doing anything that could potentially lead to more damage -- no need to MacGyver the pots. We're on the case!

No problems Thestiffness I guess with my electronics background I find this stuff easy to fix.

that's a good point, you could just glue a cocktail stick or a thin bit of plastic or metal into the pot and turn it that way

if i were you i would be ITCHING to play that bongo, stingray or not! i think if you're very careful with the glue (less is more), you should be ok.

Okay, before someone suggests a small dab of C4, let's let Nathan work his magic.
