Anyone got an unlined fretless Stingray 4 for sale?

When I become an expat in a couple of months time I'll be leaving the '76 fretless at home, so would like to take a less valuable fretless with me. So, I'm in the market for a fretless SR4, any color or condition, 2 or 3 band, but must be an unlined board. Original pup and preamp please. Would love to hear from anyone who has one available. I'd also consider a fretless F***** P.

Jakarta. Which means I'll only be taking 3 or 4 basses (maybe 5), and only ones that can be replaced or are still in production. The good news about that is that means I can take my Bongo and black Ray, but I'm not willing to risk either of my fretless basses ('76 Ray and Scroll bass).

So, a fretless Ernie Ray would be a good thing to buy before I move, especially since nobody will ship anything to Indonesian ebayers

I'd be willing to ship to Indonesia as long as you were the buyer Mark! I actually sold a fretless L-2000 to a guy in Singapore without trouble, but he had Pitters to vouch for him.

Nearly twenty years ago, I studied the Indonesian language (Bahasa Indones) for nearly a year.

I was GOOD for a while there.

Then they said, "We need you to learn Spanish" and I promptly forgot everything but simple greetings and so on.

Indonesia .... most populous Islamic country in the world.

You gonna have FUN, boy.

Hey Jack, that's what I thought too, until we spent 5 days in Jakarta last week. Friendly people, great security (metal detectors and car checks at every car park, hotel and shopping mall), not enough Westerners to be a target (there was an obvious reason why they targetted Bali - the Marriott bombing in Jakarta killed one Westerner, the Australian Embassy bombing killed no Westerners. Why waste your van and explosives for that low return?).

Modern city with excellent facilities, good cheap beer, great food, Western style shopping malls everywhere, live bands in every hotel, bar and restaurant 7 nights a week (I met two expats who play in local bands, so that's not an issue). And they're gonna pay me twice what I make here, pay for our accommodation, give us two cars with drivers and a maid. Plus a bunch of other nice benefits.

There's more chance of me dying in a plane crash or auto wreck here in Australia than there is of getting blown to pieces in a terrorist bombing in Jakarta. But I will keep my eyes open and watch our azzes.
