Estin the Dr.Z Route 66 is very responsive with all three knobs actually. Turn one alittle this way turn another that way and the tonal changes are subtle but extremely musical from the players perspective. To me you aren't limited to thinking of the knobs as simply "bass" or "trebel" any longer but rather as....well.....tone knobs. Take them all off and the amp would still sound great. I have a Dr.Z Mazerati that has only a volume and a tone knob thats it. Think of the amp as you do your guitar......its an instrument really and it should react to your playing just as your guitar does. As for volume its plenty loud enough........as for gain.......thats all in your hands!

Hey Norm...you mentioned one of those Silos had a trem conversion done to it. Which one?

And what's that color called on the middle one on the left row? I'm not a huge fan of the Silo body style, but that looks great!

FYI, your purple Axis looks like the one I just bought on eBay, save for mine's a hardtail w/rosewood board!

The black sil went from a hardtail to a lowers pitch only Floyd complete with a D-Tuna. The middle one is a Blue Dawn (discontinued) Piezo Trem

Ernie - are any of those custom paint jobs? I'm particularly curious about the yellow on the front left and the red/yellow striped one in the back right.

Ernie ~ that's a beautiful picture, bud!

An awe-inspiring site... I'd love to stand in that room for half an hour just trying to decide which one I'm going to play first!
