No - no extra text on the back plate - just a nice quilt top
I guess it just shows that EBMM makes some really fine guitars

thank you sir. I was in Ocean City, NJ about 25 minutes from Cape may. Unbelievable weather for November. About 65 and sunny.

Just got my second EBMM a week ago: a 2009 SMY2D with a unique flame top pattern and some cool bird's eye on the neck.It plays and feels WAY different than my silhouette but I'm gettin' used to it.I'll post more pics when time allows.
