Hey J-F,

Amazing grain pattern on your bass!

Of course, my opinion only, but wood like that deserves to be shown not covered up. I've seen two sterlings without their pickguard (both sparkle bursts) and they look soooo good.

Just screw the screws back in by themselves.

My bass player did it and hasn't looked back since. Doesn't even remember where he put the pickguard

YEah maybe I'll try , but I would really d'like to get a Shell pickguard ... I like having a pickguard .. dunno why .. but It's something I'll concider for my next sterling or Sting Ray :P !!!

Seriously though...I love this guitar. Now I got mine too Jimi D. :-)
This one has amazing wood grain.... looks like the same pattern going out both sides from the middle....beautiful and how fortunate for me! hehehe (best evil laugh tone)
