I have had the same problems with FEDEX. I would see on the tracking system they would say it is delivered... I call and make a complaint and a few days later it shows up. They are the same kind of clowns with a different colored truck.

When I'm expecting something from UPS I stayed glued to the window if at all possible. I live right across the street from a local guitar shop. I was expecting a guitar and the UPS guy pulled up. Went running out to the truck to see him hand me a small puffy package with a CD in it. I asked if he had another package for me and he said no. I said the tracking # indicates it's out for delivery. He goes digging through the truck and comes out with my guitar, which had been packed in a Gibson box.
He said, 'good thing you said something cause I thought this was going across the street.'  Didn't bother to ummmmmm look at the address.  Hope you get your guitar today. Let us know.

City Link in the UK are just as bad. I think its couriers in general! You pay peanuts etc.....

I've never had a problem with UPS...always been right for me. The driver(s) that do my deliveries know I'm a bass player, and anytime I'm expecting gear, I tell them a day or two ahead that it's important I get it. -Or- If I know I won't see the driver, I leave a signed note on the front door with instructions.
