Sell your balls here

please note: im gonna periodically clean this thread up cuz it can get pretty long. so, here's my plan:

1) when i do cleanup im gonna delete everything that's older than 1 month.
2) no non-mm stuff allowed. they'll get the boot

Word,
Arin

Hello!

Today I deleted around 150 posts, including anything older than March 2008, but mostly just "Nice headstock" and "Why? Why?" and "Wish I had the money" and so on.

This is part of my normal duty as mod, but do try to keep the excess blah-blah-blah to a minimum - and take negotiations to PM or email, mmmmkay?

Also, please delete anything that's been sold. It's just too hard for me to follow one guitar through it's life and death here.

Thanks.

Jack

I upgraded the pickups to seymour duncans. a screaming demon in the bridge and a jazz in the neck. also it will come with a music man case fitted to this guitar that's in excellent condition.

F/S: 2002 JP6 Blue Dawn!

Hey guys,

Just bought an Engl Invader 100 and need to come up with funds to cover it and my other guitars are non-replaceable at this point (all small luthier builds) so I can always pick up another JP6 later on down the road and I fully intend on doing so. This is my third JP now and they always have a place in my home! The guitar has the JP shield inlays and matching headstock but no piezo. The guitar was signed by John Petrucci himself at a clinic held at Washington Music Center. If you don't like the sig you could easily buff it out with a t-shirt but if you do like it, it is out of the way so it won't get rubbed off unless you do it intentionally.

I want to be up front with this guitar as I am with all my dealings so this guitar has a tiny ding in the finish (pictured below, it's directly next to the 24th fret on the low side) and there is a small nick in the fretboard at the 14th fret below the Low E (it doesn't bother me and I've played over top of it a bit, just keeping everything on the up and up). There are no neck joint cracks like there seem to be on some of the older models.

One thing to note is that I WILL BE KEEPING THE BRIDGE PICKUP!!! I think the older bridge pickup is more my style than the D-Sonic is and since I am planning on buying another JP6 to bring into my stable in the near future I want to hang onto the pickup so I can put it into that guitar. I figure anyone can throw a D-Sonic or whatever their favorite bridge pickup is into the guitar anyways so it's win-win for anyone who doesn't care for the older style pickups in the first place!

Here are a few pictures:

You can see the finish ding in this photo:

There are more pictures and you can view them all here:

"Official" pics-o-my-guitar Thread

Again, please note that I will be hanging onto the bridge pickup as I love how it sounds! The guitar also comes with the case, trem bar, hang tag, warranty card and extra springs. I am looking to clear $1150 and that includes the shipping and paypal fees. My eBay feedback is under "banana3683" and you can contact me directly here via PM or via email @ matt (DOT) fgarcia (AT) gmail (DOT) com. Thanks guys, I'll be a part of the EBMM family again in no time, just need to get this amp paid off to keep the peace with the wifey!

I've just bought a lovely new acoustic (my first ever "good" one, after 20 years of playing ), and to help fund it I'm selling my Trans Red Axis SuperSport (DOB 29 Feb 2000).

As you can see from the photos it is truly a stunning guitar, the top has a really tight quilt, whilst the neck has some crazy marbling going on. If it didn't have the matching headstock, I'd be swapping that neck with one of my other EBMM's .

There are two very small issues keeping this guitar from mint status. The first is a small ding in the side that was put there about two weeks ago, and the second is a surface crack on the tone knob (the knob is not loose at all).

The guitar comes with the original hard case, polishing cloth and tags. In the photos, black straplock buttons are fitted, but I will be returning these to the original chrome buttons originally on the guitar.

I'm asking $1500 Australian dollars + shipping. I'd love a local sale, but will ship internationally. My only request is that you give me first right of refusal to buy it back if it ever goes on sale again...

Selling My JP6

That's right, I'm selling my JP6. Here's the ebay link:

Ernie Ball Music Man Petrucci - eBay (item 170229848146 end time Jun-20-08 19:33:12 PDT)

After 10 months of playing it, I have come to the conclusion that is is just not for me. It truely is a beautiful guitar. It just doesn't fit my style.

For Sale: Barely used Luke on Ebay

Hi Folks,
I must say that I have enjoyed my stay here at your lovely forum. I need to sell my Luke to fund another purchase and have placed it on e-bay at a fairly decent reserve for those newbies or collectors in your forum that may be looking for a new aquisition. I have only played a few gigs with it outside of the music room.
Whatever the case, I want to thank all of those who were kind to answer my posts and questions, great bunch of folks (and Luke fans!) here. I'll stop by every once in awhile..Heres the e-bay link:
Ernie Ball Musicman “LUKE†Electric Guitar; Toto/Steve - eBay (item 230261907861 end time Jun-20-08 11:39:04 PDT)

Cheers!
Shaun
