correct me if I'm wrong...1. does BFR F1 have bigger frets then usual jp6?
I have also few more questions:
2. Are there only 4 finish options available?
3. Is it possible to order BFR F1 without Piezo?

I was about to order JP6 model, but then I found on youtube this video, where Petrucci talks about his new model...and now I got stuck! Don't know what to do. I went to a music store last weekend, played on JP6 and the only thing I'm not certain is the fret size. I used to play on Jackson with Jumbo frets, and JP6 seemed to has very small frets...but this was the best guitar I've ever touched and played on. Unique jew

If you can help me with getting answers to my questions, I'll be very pleased and grateful!

thanks man, I appreciate that!

one more thing...what about old versions of JP model? Will they stop making them and focus only on F1? If it's true I got stuck even harder then I thought. I live in Poland and it's really hard to find any of JP models, so I believe it would take me a year or so to check BFR

As of now, the original JP models are being produced. It is one of EBMM's biggest sellers so I don't think it will be going away any time soon.

Plus it is no longer refered to as the working title F-1 due to all of the f-1 trademark issues...Thanks!

Thanks once again for all responses! Now I'm kinda depressed I just sick to get this guitar! I could give away my blood, my custom Jackson RR, seed, whatever to get this guitar! I've played several times on JP6 so far and now I can't sleep! Unfortunately I can afford for a half of that guitar in this moment :/ Well, at least I can watch the pictures of all BFR's all over again...and again...

Oh, and one more question (probably the weirdest one) - Ho tall is John Petrucci? This guitar is so ergonomic in shape and definitely matches to his height ad so on. 2 weeks ago I was on DT show, I was even close to Mr John but couldn't find a clue about his actual height

Best to all and hope one day I'll be in the Ballz family!
Cheers from Poland,
Mike

hehehe indeed, he has really big arms! Have you seen "Score" DVD, that part about history? There is a shot from Berkeley (novadays) and John looks like a really big guy! Plus he seems to be so friendly!

anyway he's the man!

I believe that the EBMM Oracle would say "NO". BFR Petrucci's and the other Petrucci's don't come with maple fretboards. Although that would be mighty sweet.
