Bada Bing

you want more pics, here they are. . . It's my 'Angel quilt Petrucci'. Has those wings coming down the side of the quilt. Gorgeous and unique. . . No adjustments made.

That is just gorgeous man! Is the back, including the back of the neck, that dark blue you see on the outside of the quilt?

It's painted black, like all other Petrucci BFR's. Appreciate the love, it's a gem!

Thats definitely one of the nicest BBB's I've seen. Time to save up for a BBB 7 string after the Koa. Screw the Silver haha.

WOW! Thanks for the words, I'm really in love with it. . . I have a Tyler Classic and a killer Les Paul Class 5 (both which are filled with the 'wow' factor), but I can't stop going to this guitar ALL the time. EB's are truly special instruments, and it's the most comfortable guitar I've ever played.

I've also heard that the BFR JPs sound like Les Pauls. Since you have both, how do they compare tone-wise?

Well,
I would have to disagree on that end. Although, my LP has Suhr Aldrich Humbuckers loaded, which really saw through just about anything, tone wise. Plus, it's a 50's neck, which is a LOT thicker - and the whole guitar is heavier, in general, which really releases a lot of sustain, more than the Petrucci. I feel that the Petrucci is a lot easier to 'tone-tame' than the Les Paul. The maple/mahogany combo certainly compliment each other tone wise, but as a whole they are both entirely different animals. There she is. . .

Ooh, that top looks really nice with the gold hardware. After seeing Alex Lifeson playing his Gibsons on July 4, I started to like them again after hating them haha. I don't like them nearly as much as EBMMs though, and Alex can make a pile of **** (literally) sound amazing. Btw thanks for the info and pics!

KOA, indeed! Nicest possible BFR, I think. The tone will be unstoppable, not to mention the looks!

EDIT: Your BFR looks like it has a mini Jackson Flying V in it, haha
