Silo Special decision made, order placed!

Thanks to all of the folks who chipped in while I dithered about the color of my next MM, a Silo Special HSS with trem/piezo/rosewood board.

It came right down to the wire, Carbon Blue Pearl + Abalone vs. Graphite Pearl + Moonstone, and the winner was........................................

BLACK with TORTOISE!!!!!!

Seriously, I walked into the store, still undecided, and saw a black Luke on the wall. It was blacker than black! The black was so deep, it looked like it was under water or glass. Johnny Cash wore white compared to this black. Black holes are themselves sucked into EBMM black. The owner and I compared it to other black guitars in the store, including some high-end big-name custom builders, and there was no comparison. That buffing robot deserves a raise!

Anyhow, the black Luke was next to a CBP Albert with tort pg, so one thought led to another, and I went for the classic look on my new black Silo with tort guard.

Thanks again, I'll post pics when she arrives (late Feb /early March).

Regards,
GH

Looks like a great combo... congrats.

I'm waiting for a Black Axis SS, I love the look of EBMM black guitars. Very classy looking.

That's gonna be a nice one, congrats!

Why does it have 24 frets, though?
