I agree with the previous post, my ASS hardtail with hums is one of THE BEST sounding guitars I've ever played, period. Whenever I play it, I always think of a piano. It's always in the Top Three in the rotation . I have an all-rosewood Axis as well that gets almost zero playing time, which is a shame...it's awesome as well.

I'm afraid so...I've already told Pete I'll take it pending he gives it his DuBaldo Seal of Approval.

I can see how that "rosewood" look on those may not appeal to some. It kinda has the veneer/paneling look. I agree with the above post they look nice with MM90s.

How much rosewood are we talking here for the cap? Do you owners notice a warmer/richer tone?

I am primarily a bassist(EBMM 5 stringers only!) but I absolutely LOVE my all rosewood Axis Super Sport.

I brought it to work(Sweetwater Sound) and all of the guitarists that had a chance to play it were instant fans and when I told them how much I payed for it(I also got a great deal) they asked me to let them know if I ever decided to sell it. They are AWESOME guitars.

I spent about a half an hour with one at GC and was all set to buy but somehow the Luke got my money for tonal options and sexiness. I still want one in a hardtail.

I was at The Guitar Shop in Mississauga (near Toronto Canada The Guitar Shop - Home) today and they had one there. A beautiful looking guitar for sure!
